Anatomy is a study that fosters respect for the body.
The more I learn about the human body, the more I realize certain things.
it is,
There is nothing superfluous in the human body.
That's the point.
Muscles, bones, fascia, blood vessels, and nerves.
Even things that seem unnecessary at first glance always have meaning and a purpose.
Furthermore, they do not exist in isolation, but rather support each other and function as a single living entity.
Thirty years ago, when I first started studying anatomy, I had a hard time connecting the diagrams on paper with the bodies of people in front of me, and no matter how much I studied, the information just wouldn't stick in my head.
I've had experiences like that.
Of course, understanding how the body works is important.
Where is everything located, how are they connected, and how do they work together?
Knowing this or not knowing it changes how you look at a body and how you touch it.
However, I believe that anatomy is not simply something to be memorized.
What's truly important is,
The ability to visualize what's inside the body.
What is happening beneath the skin?
How are muscles, bones, blood vessels, and nerves connected and how do they function?
To touch your body while feeling that magnificent world.
Therefore, I believe that anatomy is not just knowledge,
Learning to cultivate respect for the body
That's what I think.
The more you learn,
"The human body is truly amazing."
This feeling of awe becomes even stronger.
It's as if you're exploring an entire universe.
And in that universe, nothing is wasted; everything has meaning.
The more you learn about it, the deeper your respect for your body becomes.
And that respect is reflected in the treatment itself.
Instead of trying to change your body to conform to your own desires, you learn to trust in your body's natural functions.
The more respect we have for our bodies,
The procedure is simpler.
It will become purer.
That's how I feel.
