The deciding factor for me to enroll was definitely receiving a Swedish massage at the trial session!
Since I started thinking about opening my own business, I've tried various massage techniques, and while I found them all enjoyable, I haven't yet found one that makes me think, "I want to do this technique myself!"
It was during this period of searching that I came across EAO's Instagram account.
"The oil is the size of a one-yen coin." "The origin and pinnacle of oil massage." I was intrigued by many other appealing words, and above all, by the video of the seemingly relaxing techniques, so I signed up for a trial session.
However, while I was hopeful, I also had many thoughts like, "What will I do if this isn't something I want to do either?"
With a mix of emotions, I finally received Kaori-sensei's Swedish massage.
That was shocking!!
The direct warmth of the hands, the comfort of the massage techniques I had never experienced before, and the lingering afterglow of the massage long after it was over—all of these were first-time experiences for me.
With no doubts left in my mind, I thought, "I want to be able to perform this technique!" and that very night I applied to enroll.
Since starting school, I've been having very fulfilling days.
From the trial lesson, I felt that Ms. Kaori was a very easy-to-talk-to teacher (which was one of the deciding factors), and that didn't change once the lessons started. She teaches at a pace that suits each individual, repeating the same things over and over again, and is very dedicated to helping each student.
The same applies to other teachers. Everyone teaches me very carefully and thoroughly.
Furthermore, all the students are very kind people.
The therapists who come here range from beginners to veterans, and come from all over the country. They are all very kind and enthusiastic, and I am very grateful for the advice they give me.
And what surprised me most was that they taught me more than just massage techniques.
Most importantly, they guide me on "how I should be as a therapist" every time.
I think I'm someone who easily loses my sense of self and has trouble feeling confident.
In return, the teacher will offer positive encouragement and share their perspective each time.
That makes me really happy, and I always feel energized when I go home after class.
I've gradually become more positive, and since starting school, I've experienced more positive changes in my personal life as well.
I believe that the "environment" is very important. I think EAO offers a very good environment in many respects.
I don't think you'll find many other schools with such a great environment.
I believe this school is perfect not only for those who want to learn techniques, but also for those who want to change themselves.
I am very happy to have found EAO and to have been able to enroll there.
I'll do my best to prepare for opening the business!
